As some of you might know, we got legally married on May 21st, 2024, in Valencia, Spain. It was a small ceremony in a government building, just the two of us and 3 close friends. We were told our duties as husband and wife, we said "sí", we exchanged rings, we signed the paperwork, and in under half an hour, we got out as a married couple!
It was a beautiful moment in its own way. But we always knew we wanted a real celebration, with the people who matter most to us, in a place that felt like us.
And after 2 years of waiting (and saving), we're finally ready to celebrate!
We will spend 6 months in a tiny town in the French Pyrenees, and this is where we chose to host our celebration. The gathering will be intimate (20 of our close friends and family and our dog) and will take place in our spacious garden, which we will prepare and decorate for the occasion.
No city hall — we already took care of that part 2 years ago — but we will have our very own ceremony with an aisle and arch!
